I’ll admit it. I am not a fan of fruit. I really feel like I am the only one, and I totally feel guilty about it since I have kids and don’t buy a lot of fruit for our home. I find the taste of fruit to be too sweet for me. I always make a face – you know that face – the one where it bunches all up like you just ate a sour patch kid or something. LOL!
I do purchase grapes and strawberries though. The only way I can tolerate eating the fruit is if I have something to neutralize that tart taste I get when I bit into them. What better than a nice creamy dip?!
1 Package Cream Cheese, 8 oz
1 1/2 Cup of Powdered Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Set cream cheese out till reaches room temperature or you can do what I did and put it in the microwave for 20 seconds until it was soft and creamy. Put the package of cream cheese in a small bowl. Add the 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar and mix together with a spoon until thoroughly mixed together. Add the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix together until creamy. Set the bowl in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to give it a nice cool temperature to serve it with. Now you are ready to serve this cream cheese dip with some fresh fruit!
So good you may catch some little fingers sneaking a taste or two 😉
